Welcome to #thebalance v62 ~
Hard to believe I have written 60+ of these letters. Thanks to all of you for supporting me as I have worked to find my voice, sharpen my writing style, and practice my community building efforts over the past ~18 months. It continues to be a work in progress for so thanks for sticking it out with me, especially in the early stages of growing this thing :).
I craft this newsletter for myself, first and foremost. But its quickly turning into more of a community-focused initiative. The readership here is a few hundred strong at this point. Many of you read it week in and week out and send me individual emails on a semi-regular basis. So I want to take this time to thank you…. for joining me on the ride thus far. Its been a pleasure following my curiosities alongside you thus far.
After all, what good is happiness unless its shared?
Looking ahead:
Over these next few weeks, I will be publishing more sparingly and likely off-schedule (aka when I feel like it, ha!). I am going to do my very best to find some time to unplug. I hope you are able to find time to do the same.
In 2021, I intend to make #thebalance more of a community-led effort, engaging with you, the reader, on a more personal basis. I will be launching the WhatsApp group / online community for #thebalance early next year. I’d also like to incorporate more guest features/writers on the newsletter. Nothing would please me more than to inspire others to share their curiosity with the readership so we can grow and learn together.
In short, 2020 was the year #thebalance found its cadence. 2021 is the year we grow this newsletter to the next level, together.
So cheers to you and thanks for reading. I hope that you are able to take some time to reflect on all the change that has happened this past year. It was a historic year. I know many of us are looking to the future already, but I encourage you to take the time to digest all of the change that has occurred these last 12 months. This year is a catalyst in human history and its important we understand what got us here so we can better approach what’s ahead.
With that, I wish you the best during this holiday season. You will be hearing from me sooner than you’d like, I am sure!

📚⏯️🎤 #otherthings
I am starting an online community built on the curiosity pillars of this newsletter.
Why? Well because, in the spirit of bursting echo chambers, we have hundreds of readers from all over the world and I think its time we get to know one another a little more intimately and foster some connectivity sparks.
I am looking to continue to progress the experience that comes with reading #thebalance. My hope is that this is another way to add additional value into your life.
SO….
🚨🚨 I will be launching a community group chat on WhatsApp in the coming month whereby connections will be facilitated, knowledge will be shared, and digital meetups will be had.
…. hit reply and respond with a ‘✋’ if you are interested!
(for those that have already responded, I will be in touch soon!!)

Stay safe out there. Peace and love to all y’all.
